Almond Peach Nectar is a good-for-you drink that happens to be delicious, too!
Although the Ayurvedic tradition typically recommends eating fruit by itself, combining the sweet juice with the proteins and good fats in the almond milk as in this recipe helps to anchor and ground the blood sugar spike that can result from eating sugar / fruit juice by itself.
Peaches are typically in season locally in the late spring / early summer. Enjoy!
1/4c Almond Milk
1/4c Peach Nectar or purée
Warm on low to desired temperature.
