It’s no secret that chia seeds are an extremely rich superfood. Full of omega 3 fatty acids, nutrients, antioxidants and even protein (14%…that’s huge compared to most plants!), these little seeds pack a super nutritious punch. Combined with dried oats this satisfying parfait is sure to keep you full as you power through your morning.
Chia Seed Oatmeal Parfait
1/2 cup dried oats
2 Tbsp chia seeds
1 tsp cinnamon
Cook the oatmeal with 1 cup of water on low heat. When the oats are halfway done, add the chia seeds. Cook until all the water is absorbed.
Top your delicious chia seed oatmeal parfait with berries, a scoop of nut butter or crushed nuts, and a little ghee or flax oil.
