About the Role:
We’re looking for a dynamic Ecommerce Marketing Manager to join our team. In this role, you’ll work with the Founder and Marketing Director to develop, implement, and execute digital marketing strategies to drive online traffic, optimize conversion rates, and increase sales through our e-commerce platform on Shopify. 

This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment and who has a deep understanding of digital marketing channels, consumer behavior, copy that converts, analytics tools, and e-commerce trends. We are looking for someone who is a great balance of creative and analytical thinking, while rolling up their sleeves to help execute with our small but amazing team. 

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Management:

  • Assist the Director in managing the content and brand strategy across email, social, product and website.
  • Work with the Director and marketing team to implement and optimize innovative campaigns across channels, including paid and organic social media, search engines, email, podcast, and affiliate programs.
  • Execute the marketing calendar, write and build out content and promotional marketing initiatives based on tentpole marketing promotions.
  • Monitor campaign performance and key metrics, recommending and making data-driven adjustments to maximize ROI.
  • Execute our promotional marketing initiatives from conception to postmortem, working cross functionally to reach company goals.

Copy, Content & Product Creation:

  • Assist the Director in the development of compelling, conversion-focused content and copy for digital platforms—product descriptions, blog posts, social media, emails, and more.
  • Collaborate with creative and customer service teams to develop engaging visual assets, videos, and multimedia content.
  • Create compelling funnel, landing page and supporting copy that utilizes industry best practices to drive urgency, trust, proof, conversions … and ultimately revenue and lifetime value. 

Social Media Management:

  • Partner with our Social Media Manager to execute strategies that build brand awareness, engage our audience, and drive traffic.
  • Monitor social channels and manage our online reputation with grace and agility.

Email Marketing Management:

  • Work with the Director to create and execute (write, build, and optimize) email campaigns that nurture leads, promote products, and encourage continuous learning.
  • Work with Operations/Otium to create full funnel campaigns and desired customer journeys.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Assist Director in setting marketing objectives aligned with sales targets; track KPIs like engagement, leads, sales, and ROI.
  • Utilize Shopify, Keap, Google Analytics, and other analytics tools to generate insights, drive optimization, and share performance reports. 
  • Track and manage our ad partners’ performance to assist Director in optimizing and creating high converting and ROI campaigns. 
  • Strong desire to research and implement AI tools to create automation and efficiencies within marketing operations. 

Website, SEO and SEM:

  • Lead the design and branding of the website, building sales pages and landing pages in Shopify as needed.
  • Assist tech with website maintenance.
  • Implement SEO best practices and manage SEM campaigns to drive qualified traffic and enhance visibility.

About You
You are an experienced marketer with a deep passion for wellness and personal growth. You’re data driven, strategic, and creative, with a relentless drive for excellence. You thrive in collaborative environments but are equally comfortable taking the reins and working independently. You have a knack for converting copy and data; and understand how to leverage them to maximize growth and impact.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in selling information products online and direct response/e-commerce marketing.
  • Experience in the health and wellness industry is highly preferred. Especially in online learning. 
  • Proven success in building and optimizing marketing campaigns and funnels, including paid social, affiliate, and influencer marketing.
  • Expertise with digital marketing tools and CRMs such as Google Analytics, Shopify, Canva, Keap, Meta Ads Manager, etc. 
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience using web analytics tools and CRM software to drive strategy and decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, copywriting, and project management skills.
  • A proactive, results-driven attitude, with a strong work ethic and a passion for constant improvement.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with Shopify, Google Analytics, and Keap CRM. 
  • Experience with Asana or other project management tools.
  • Deep knowledge of A/B testing methodologies and conversion rate optimization techniques.
