The REAL Meaning of Ignorance

We all know the saying… “Ignorance is bliss.”

You may use it nostalgically when speaking about children and their lack of awareness of the tough stuff in life.

Or when referring to an earlier time where you were blissfully unaware of some flavor of corruption.

But what if ignorance isn’t an absence of knowledge?

What if ignorance is ignoring what you know?

After all, you have to know something in order to ignore it.

Here’s the thing — knowledge is meant for action. It’s meant to guide us toward our highest path.

And when we ignore the things we know, we prevent ourselves and our society from progressing. Things also tend to get a little rocky in life.
