Don’t Let Perfect Be The Enemy of Good

What if we strive for perfect balance instead of perfection?

Have you ever bailed on an endeavor because it wasn’t turning out exactly as you imagined?

I used to strive for perfection in everything I did: in my career, appearance, relationships. I was so concerned with achieving perfection, that it kept me trapped.

Here’s the news: there’s no such thing as perfect, because perfection only lasts for a moment.

Nature is always evolving, always changing, so what was perfect yesterday may not be perfect for today. That fuchsia taffeta dress may have been a perfect choice for prom, but probably not the best option for your cocktail party this Friday night.

In the video below I share some things that liberated me from the prison of perfectionism.

Enjoy.
