Emily Shares 4 Hangover Remedies

Your practice is not going to judge you, and you’ll feel better on the other side.

So you had a few too many cocktails last night, did you?

I hope you had a great time! But I’m sorry you’re feeling hungover.

Ziva grads often report that their tolerance (and desire for) alcohol decreases quickly after learning to meditate. As we purify our physiology, we become more sensitive to all kinds of stimulants and depressants. I often like to joke that the course pays for itself in booze alone in the first 6 months as you will become a much cheaper date 😉

No one intends to get a hangover. But in case you get carried away, I made a quick video to help you prevent or mitigate any damage.

1. Meditate. Your practice is not going to judge you, and you’ll feel better on the other side.

2. Eat raw fat- Raw coconut oil, avocados, and even some raw cheese on top of your eggs if you can get your hands on it. It will line your stomach and help with the nausea.

3. Bring your awareness to any pain or nausea you’re having. I believe  pain is our body trying to communicate with us. If you listen, you give your body the opportunity to talk a bit softer. The pain will dissipate and then you can move on to the new now.

4. Oh! And drink a lot of water.

Hope these tips help you to feel better today, friends.
