As a meditation teacher I get a lot of people coming to me and telling me about all of the amazing ways their lives have changed since they began meditating. I hear about promotions at work, creative endeavors, new relationships, weight loss, I could go on and on. I love all of it, but what is always fun to hear about is how meditation up levels your experience in the bedroom.
What does meditation have to do with an orgasm?
A lot more than you might think.
If female cortisol levels get too high women are actually incapable of having an orgasm. Here’s the good news: the whole point of meditation is to rid your body of cortisol and other stress chemicals like adrenaline.
So when we meditate, we up our levels of dopamine and serotonin which are bliss chemicals (which will make your life better anyway!) and that’ll make you a lot more likely to have an orgasm.
The other beautiful thing about meditation is that it gives you full permission to be present in your body in the right now. And that’s the only time an orgasm can happen anyway.
