How to Save the World (in Two Simple Steps)

This summer, Ziva founder Emily Fletcher took the stage in Mykonos, Greece at Mindvalley Academy’s renowned A-Fest: Bio-hacking, Body and Brain (A-Fest is short for Awesomeness Fest, of course!). Emily discusses how together we can save the world, but what are we saving the world from? In her words, “the 3 Big Scaries: climate change, terrorism, and the quality of our food.”

Here is Emily’s amazing talk that is equal parts passion, science and levity (and get ready for some big-time chills in minute 10).

While the title of this talk is meant to be a bit provocative, the subject matter is 100% sincere. If you’ve found yourself in a state of overwhelm, frustration or even panic based on current political issues please watch the talk and share your thoughts. Agree? Disagree? Either way, these are important topics that deserve our time and attention. Leave a comment below and let’s start focusing on sustainable, realistic solutions.

In the talk, Emily says, “I know that if you’re watching this, you have a deep desire to leave this world better than you found it. And I want this to be a call to action … If you don’t yet have a meditation practice, what the $*%! are you waiting for? And if you do have a meditation practice, how are you using your gifts to best save the world? Because the best way to hack your happiness that I know is by being of service, by contributing to making this world a better place when you leave it than when you found it.”
