Let’s talk about what a mistake really is — it’s a mis-take.

You took something to be one thing, when really it was something else.

You thought this thing was A-B-C. After all it looks like A-B-C, it acts like A-B-C, maybe you even marry or hire A-B-C… But then you’re like uh oh, turns out it was really D-E-F.

Chances are, it was always D-E-F, but if you really WANT something to be A-B-C, it’s easy to convince yourself that you’ve found it.
